Bondoc si Asociatii advised PPF in accessing EUR 1.150 billion credit facilities from banking syndicate
The banking and finance team of Bondoc si Asociatii together with White & Case LLP (as lead counsel) assisted PPF with respect to the financing of the acquisition of Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ/Prague Stock Exchange: CETV) (“CME”). CME operates television stations in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia, including Pro TV. BNP Paribas and Société Générale acted as Structuring Advisors to PPF on the acquisition facilities. The EUR 1.150 billion facilities have been fully underwritten by BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, Credit Suisse, HSBC, Société Générale and UniCredit.
Our assistance addressed all the Romanian law aspects, including structuring the security package, review and execution of the credit documentation and the intra-creditor agreement.
