Lucian Bondoc, Managing Partner at Bondoc și Asociații, took part as a speaker in the online debate “NIS 2 – Este de bine? Pentru cine? (”Is it beneficial? For whom?”)
The event, organized by Juridice.ro, examined the new challenges posed by the NIS 2 Directive and the current state of its transposition in Romania, which marks a significant expansion and development of the cybersecurity regulatory framework.
The discussions focused on the key developments and implications of the relevant legislation, including its impact on companies operating in sectors not previously covered by NIS 1. It was an excellent opportunity to engage in discussions with other experts on a dense and complex piece of legislation that could significantly affect critical segments of both the private and public sectors—especially in light of the rapid evolution of technology across all areas.

Evenimentul, organizat de Juridice.ro, a privit contextul noilor provocări generate de Directiva NIS 2 și stadiul transpunerii în România ce marchează o extindere semnificativă și o dezvoltare a cadrului de reglementare în materie de securitate cibernetică.
Discuțiile s-au concentrat pe principalele noutăți și implicații ale legislației respective, inclusiv pentru companii din sectoare care nu erau vizate anterior (de NIS 1). A fost o oportunitate foarte bună de a discuta, împreună cu alți specialiști din domeniu, un text legislativ dens și complex, cu potențial impact semnificativ asupra unor segmente importante din sectorul privat și cel public, pe fondul evoluției accelerate a tehnologiei în toate domeniile.
