Monica Iancu, Partner Bondoc și Asociații, and Lucian Bondoc, Managing Partner Bondoc și Asociații, participated on May 26 in the conference titled Data Protection Romania organized by Societatea de Științe Juridice (Society of Juridical Sciences).

In his presentation, Lucian Bondoc drew attention to some sensitive legal issues regarding DPOs (data protection officers) related to cyber security in Romania, given the current situation and dynamics of the regulatory framework, including the European one, in this matter.

Monica Iancu’s presentation focused on good practices from the perspective of data protection legislation for mobile interfaces and online platforms, highlighting important recent developments in the field, namely the European Commission’s draft guidelines on dark patterns.

It was a very good opportunity for discussions on complex and topical issues, Bondoc și Asociații being involved in numerous projects that need attention in the context of the aspects presented above.
