Simona Petrisor speaker at the National Conference of Commercial Law
Our colleague Simona Petrisor attended as speaker the National Conference of Commercial Law (12th edition) organized on 17/18 June 2022 by the Law Faculty of Timisoara West University through the Business Law Center Timisoara together with the Law Faculty of Cluj Napoca Babes Bolyai University. This year conference has a main theme the “Ownership in business law”
Simona’s intervention in the conference was focused on the “Anatomy of an NFT – the non fungible tokens as a (new) species of intangible assets?”, aiming to analyse whether the classical legal concepts regulated by the Romanian Civil Code and the Romanian private law legal framework more generally may address/cover the needs of the users of NFTs and to what extent a dedicated legal framework is required for this type of new intangible assets.
